Growing up, she was a child star, the daughter of Per Asplin and had a full schedule. She performed on Television, held concerts and acted in musicals. Caroline Waters had her debut as a singer with her father already as a two-year-old in 1968. Her first performance as actor was in 1970, as Little Caroline in the Christmas movie, Putti Plutti Pott. She toured with the National Theatre of Norway as Kamomilla, as the lead in the fairytale musical, "I Found, I Found" and finally as Putti's Mama in Putti Plutti Pott.
But it has been a while since she participated in a Christmas musical or fairytale musical. Caroline has grown up, stands firmly on her own two legs as an artist and has a number of album releases behind her.
- The memories from most of my childhood and teens disappeared after the accident, she says and continues:
- I've done a lot since I performed on stage with my dad. And it has been important to me to create my own identity. I very much appreciate the wonderful feedback I have received for my musical, "Finding Venus". The show is about my own life journey after I got injured both physically and psychologically. It is about finding a way back to Self.
